Wanderlust Weddings specialise in boutique wedding videos capturing each moment of your special day.
Below is a sample from our most recent weddings:
Triona & Julian - 06/07/18
I was fortunate to film this amazing boutique wedding for Triona and Julian. The couple were blessed with amazing weather which shows Markree Castle and it's true beauty. Triona and Julian both from Sligo choose one of the most beautiful castles to celebrate and parting on their wedding day.
Everything from start to finish ran smoothly with makeup by Muireann & Elaine of The Hair & Beauty Quarter. Muireann even steamed Trionas dress! I think you will also agree from the video that the bridesmaids' floral hoops were beautiful thanks to the help of Olga from The Flower Shed.
One thing I really loved was the hair by Katie & Sorcha of Kreation Hairdressing. It wasn't your traditional bridal look, but it was relaxed, veil-less & true to Triona. It lasted the whole day & complemented her backless dress. I think you will also agree from the video that the bridesmaids' floral hoops were beautiful thanks to the help of Olga from The Flower Shed. The chocolate biscuit cake was an incredibly generous gift from O'Hehirs Bakery and cars & personalisation were supplied by Martin Reilly BMW.
Lets not forget about the lads who looked sharp thanks to Tom & Mark from Ej Menswear. Mark even called round to check the lads' ties that morning. Trionas dress was the simplest sheath, a satin slip dress by designer David Fielden.
Also a massive thanks to Philip and the staff at Markree Castle. The grounds are spectacular & each room excites. As usual the music from Sarah Crummy was outstanding & MASS kept people dances into the early hours.
Bernard & Laura - 11/11/18
Bernard & Laura married on a cool crisp Novembers day. The couple married at the stunning Star Of The Sea Church, Mullaghmore, Sligo. The evening was spent surrounded by friends and family at the stunning Georgian Temple House, Sligo. The couple danced into the evening thanks to Johnny Gallagher & The Boxtie band.
Claire & James - 12/09/17
Claire and James married on a stunning summers day at St. Patricks Church Strandhill. Claire met James while she was working in London as a teacher. James not only fell in love with Claire, he also was captivated by Ireland's rugged landscape and natural beauty. Claire made the journey home to Sligo and they celebrated their champagne reception at the stunning Markree Castle surrounded by friends and family.
Rebecca & Mitch - 15/07/17
Rebecca & Mitch married at the stunning Dromquinna Manor co. Kerry. Their story began while Rebecca was working in Australia. As luck would have it, Rebecca fell in love with Mitch and they made the long trip back to Ireland to celebrate their marriage. It was an ideal location surrounded by the Kerry mountains, this unique garden wedding was spectacular beyond belief. Rebecca and Mitch were joined by their family and close friends from far and wide.
Caoimhe & Sean - 18/08/17
Caoimhe and Sean married on a beautiful summers day at St. Patrick's Church Strandhill located at their favourite coastal village of Strandhill, Co. Sligo. The combination of the wild Atlantic surf and a beautiful summers day provided the perfect backdrop for this special seaside wedding. Afterwards the couple enjoyed a walk past the famous Strand Bar followed by a quick drive into the Raddison Hotel to celebrate the rest of their night in style.
Gemma and Neal - 2015
I was fortunate to film this amazing boutique wedding for my friends Gemma and Neal. Their story began while Gemma was working in the USA. As luck would have it, Neal not only fell in love with Gemma, he also was captivated by Ireland's rugged landscape and natural beauty. The young couple married in Sligo Cathedral and celebrated in Gemma's family home at the amazing Glen Lodge. The stars aligned and the sun shone providing a fairy tale setting for this perfect outdoor summer wedding. Surrounded by mountains and the sea, this unique garden wedding was spectacular beyond belief. Gemma and Neal were joined by their family and close friends from far and wide. Many aspects of their wedding reflected the couples individuality and having Gemma's best friend custom designing her wedding dress was surely a dream come true.
